The State Radio Monitoring Center (SRMC), erly known as the State Radio Regulation Committee (SRRC), is currently the only organization in Mainl China that is authorized to test certify radio mo approval requirements. At present, China has set special frequency ranges for different types of radio transmission equipment, not all frequencies are legally used in China. In other words, all radio transmission equipment sold or used within its territory will specify different frequencies. In addition, applicants must pay attention to the scope of certain radio transmission equipment. Not only must they apply for "Radio Type Approval Certification", they must also apply for China Compulsory Certification (CCC) /or Network Access Permit (MII) approval.

The National Radio Monitoring Center is a public institution directly under the Ministry of Ination Industry of the People's Republic of China. It is mainly responsible for radio monitoring radio spectrum management, is the supporting organization for China's radio management.

The center has 10 offices, 1 national monitoring station, 8 national shortwave/satellite monitoring stations, 1 ultrashortwave monitoring station 1 data backup center.
